What is 'jumpoff'?

Jumpoff is the location where the guests board the accredited 4x4.
Pinatubo jumpoff is in Capas, Tarlac
Puning jumpoff is in Sapang Bato, Angeles City
Inararo Ecotour jumpoff is in Clark

What happens to the tour if it's raining?

In the case of rain, tours go on as planned. The tour operator will exert reasonable effort to notify the guest(s) of any changes in the tour schedule. In the event of natural calamities or mandated government cancellations refer to Refund Policy.

What's the difference between exclusive and joiners tour?

Exclusive tour is a private group created by the guests. They can choose pickup location from Manila, Clark or jumpoff. A private group can bring pets.

Joiners tour is limited schedule tour with designated pickup and drop-off point. Joiners will be sharing the van, 4x4 and tour guide with other joiners. Joiners must consider others pacing and wait for the group to be completed. Joiners are not allowed to bring pets.

Can you do multiple tours in one day?

Pinatubo tour is exhausting and its jumpoff location is very far from Puning and Inararo jumpoff. You cannot do Pinatubo with another tour on the same day.

You can do Inararo Ecotour in the morning then have lunch and activities in Puning Hot Spring in the afternoon.

Can you stay overnight?

There is no accommodation in Puning Hot Spring, Mt. Pinatubo and Inararo Ecotour. Camping is also not allowed. We recommend booking a hotel in Clark and nearby area.

Is Mt. Pinatubo trekking good for beginners?

Mount Pinatubo via Capas, Tarlac is good for beginners. Enjoy a mild 3.5 kilometer walking trail with little elevation and stairs. Our oldest to complete is 80 years old and the youngest is 5 years old.

How long is Pinatubo tour

The tour from jumpoff in Capas, Tarlac takes around 5-6 hours to complete.

The travel time from Manila to jumpoff is 2 hours and from Clark is 1 hour.

Are foreigners allowed in Mt. Pinatubo?

As of March 10, 2024 foreign nationals must submit photos of passports and book twenty (20) days before their tour date to give time in the application of their Visit Clearance from Philippine Air Force. We process application as long as we submit the requirements ahead of time.

What age are allowed in Mt. Pinatubo?

Children aged from 6 years old and above are allowed. Our oldest to complete Pinatubo Daytour is 80 years old. For 60 years old and above, Capas Tourism office requires any one (1) of the following.

  • Medical certificate indicating fit to hike.
  • Travel insurance
  • Medical insurance

What should I bring and wear during Pinatubo tour?

Wear comfortable clothes, hat and durable shoes or sandals. Bring tube mask or large handkerchief to cover your face and hair as it gets dusty on the 4x4 jeep ride back.
Bring personal drinking water, snacks and extra clothes for changing.

Can you swim in the crater lake?

It is strictly prohibited to swim in the crater lake.

Can you bring pet dogs?

Yes you can bring your pet dog for exclusive group. Please consider providing a gratuity for the 4x4 and van drivers to cover the additional cleaning and sanitation required for transporting pets.

Can we use our own 4x4 in Capas trail?

Yes you can use your own 4x4 in Capas trail. You must avail an exclusive tour package and pay additional P550 own vehicle fee on top of the package

Puning Hot Spring FAQ

Is Puning Hot Spring good for all ages?

Yes Puning Hot Spring is good for all ages. Sand spa is optional and can be shorted to a few minutes just for the experience.

How long is Puning Hot Spring tour?

The tour from jumpoff in Sapang Bato, Angeles City around 5-6 hours to complete.

The travel time from Manila to jumpoff is 2 hours and from Clark is 30 minutes.

7:15AM - 8:00AM - Van pickup from Clark / Angeles hotels to Puning
8:00AM - 8:15AM - Station 1 registration and 4x4 jeep boarding
8:15AM - 9:00AM - 4x4 lahar trail through the canyons
9:00AM - 10:00AM - Station 1 arrival, soak in 11 hot springs each with different temperature
10:00AM - 10:30AM - 4x4 lahar trail ride back to Station 2
10:30AM - 10:50AM - Sand Spa
10:50AM - 11:05AM - Mud pack

How much is Puning Hot Spring?

Puning Hot Spring starts at P5,500 per pax. The minimum number of pax is four (4). That means if you are a solo traveller, couple or three people you will have to pay the total for 4 pax.

Wear comfortable clothes and sandals. You can bring swim attire or borrow shirts and short from Puning Hot Spring. Bring personal drinking water and extra clothes for changing.

Can we use our own 4x4 in Puning?

No. It is strictly prohibited for private 4x4s to enter Puning.

Can you bring pet dogs?

No you can't bring your pets in Puning.

Inararo Avatar Gorge FAQ

Is Inararo Ecotour good for all ages?

Yes, our youngest is 2 years old and our oldest is 80 years old. We have a guest who have club foot condition and a guest who have polio condition. They both completed gorge walking in Tutulari Avatar Gorge.

How long is Inararo Ecotour?

The tour from Clark jumpoff is around 5-6 hours to complete.

The travel time from Manila to jumpoff is 2 hours and from Clark is 30 minutes.
