Tour organizers were communicative and clear at all points. From driver pick-up and drop-off, to navigating administrative procedures and processes, to assigning an excellent young guide (Rainier) to accompany us, we had an excellent experience with Pinatubo Mountainero. Would recommend to others.

We left at SM Clark at 7:15am, arrived at the starting point by 8:45am, and ended the tour around 1:50pm. Everything ran smoothly thanks to kuya Mark, our friendly and professional driver.

Ate January, our tour guide, was kind, informative and knew the area well. She even doubled as a photographer, guiding us to the best photo spots and teaching us how to pose!

The tour felt truly magical. Who would've thought such stunning scenery existed so close to home? Highly recommended!

We had the best family outdoor trip!

I highly recommend Pinatubo Mountainero. The coordination was seamless, from the booking to the on-the-day coordination. Exceptional facilities, too - the van was new, and the Jump Off Point was well-kept and not crowded. The staff were all courteous and professional, with a special shoutout to our driver, our guide, and Ms. Melai. We had such a good experience that we’re thinking of doing the Avator Gorge next.

We had a fantastic experience. We booked with 4 guests and our tour was on 14 August 2025. A little over 2 weeks after the large typhoon hit the Philippines. From the beginning, we had some issue with booking through the website, so we messaged directly via FB messenger, and the customer service was 10/10, extremely helpful and very quick to respond! They gave us alternative way to send a payment so that we could still book a tour with them. Even when a mistake was made on our end, the team helped us correct it even outside their normal business hours to make sure we were taken care of. On the day of our tour, our 4x4 driver Kennedy Calo, was exactly on time, and from the start to end was extremely helpful, informative, and polite. He told us about the history of the local tribe, the Aeta people, and fun facts about the area all along the trail up to the gorge. He had a super sweet off-road Nissan vehicle as well! When we arrived at the gorge, we were met by a Local named Mary Anne, we called her Ate Mary! who guided us through the gorge, offered to take pictures for us and showed us where all the best posing spots were. It had rained heavily the night before so the lahar and sand were very soft, and there was a decent bit of water runoff into the gorge so we decided to take our shoes off. Be wary, some of the ladders have become damaged from recent storms and flooding so some parts of the descent into, and climb out of, the gorge will require a bit of climbing the rocks. We recommend wearing some sandals or footwear that okay to get wet. Ate Mary even helped us carry our shoes so we could safely climb the rocks, as she was a pro and climbed very easily! Unfortunately tho, Because of the damage, the tour actually gets cut a bit short due to the ladders/rope at the end of the trail being damaged making it unsafe to go past that point. Overall, our experience with the tour company was fantastic and the local Aeta people are very friendly and in tune with the environment (shown in my picture!). I hope they are able to repair the damages in the future when there is less rain, so that others can experience the whole Gorge tour. I would absolutely love to come back and do this again!

Bottom line: just do it!

I booked the Inararo Trail hike two days prior for a group of 11 people and they were able to accommodate. The logistics were super straightforward and they picked us up right from the hotel in the Clark area. The drivers and guides were all professionals and clearly very experienced along the route. The route itself was challenging due to the slipperiness of the rocks and steepness while coming back to the 4x4s, but if you follow the guide’s footsteps it’s quite safe. Incredible views of the crater lake at the summit, and we felt like we earned it after the hike. Can’t recommend this enough, it was my top experience in the Philippines. Salamat po!

Our trip to Tutulari Avatar Gorge became even more memorable with the enthusiasm shown by our driver Robert and tour guide B3 (sounds like it). They showed willingness to help on making sure we get the best photos and what's even better is that they kept us involved by sharing their knowledge about the place and stories from their previous experiences.

This was so worth it. Our driver was really nice and informative. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area (didn’t talk much), he got us safely to the summit. It was raining when we went which was nice as it wasnt so hot. They arent kidding when they say this is not for beginners. There is a lot of river crossings and the last leg of the hike there is a steep vertical climb. Be prepared to get your shoes wet, there is no avoiding it. Would love to try the other trails/tours next time. Definitely recommending this to friends and family.

The trek was about 7.5 miles in total, about 1700 ft elev gain! Was an amazing experience. I’d recommend wearing pants and long sleeves bc of the plants but if not it’s also okay. Majority of our crew wore tanks, short sleeves and shorts. Be prepared to get wet! Enjoy it! Swim at the waterfall! Bring plenty food and water!! Tip your tour guides and drivers!

Our group of 7 was not just awed, but mesmerized and stunned by what we saw and experienced at the Tutulari Avatar gorge. It was beyond our wildest imagination (and they are wild because we're divers and have seen a lot); and to say we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement. We all vowed to go back with friends.
That said, we just wish that our request to be picked up at our house WITHIN Clark Airbase was granted because we were a PRIVATE tour group. Thank you to the organizers!!!! You all rock.

Me and my in laws all seniors had a great time doing this tour.Our service companion Eryz was great driving for us thru rough roads. We're happy to have accomplish the challenges going thru the gorge
